A well built, former US Army officer who was discharged after 1 year in Baghdad. Tycho Krahe perceives himself as a nihilist, but underneath all his hatred for humanity and their reckless imperfection the fundamentals of life like love and companionship still infatuate him and shows that he is truly human. That his ideology can be ignored, and that living is worth something...even if it's very little. For the most part he keeps to himself, unless he is with his best friends and drinking...and smoking his cigarettes. He listens to industrial music and heavy death metal, but occasionally will put on an 80's pop song for amusement. A hardcore debater, he is seen as the political activist of the group and likes to form small political sit ins, but many don't agree with his socialist views so they're mostly busts. He has a weakness for redheads, but loves to degrade their "ginger" traits. Cares for his old 1962 Triumph Bonneville which he restored himself. Eats rarely, because he's an alcoholic. He's also pale, has fine teeth thanks to his braces. Prefers wearing his horned rimmed glasses and simple clothing. Always short brown hair with green eyes. Standard, Caucasian male face. He has a horrible past that haunts him to this very day. Kept in absolute secrecy, only his best friends know because they walked in on it. Miles was a virgin along with Tyco till high school (though miles loses it only recently [like 2 weeks before the pilot]) Miles still yearned for a woman's warmth, while Tycho persuaded a nice and overly nice Latina to have sex with him before he went off to boot camp. That night, Miles threw a party for the both of them and after Tycho scored, Miles was drunk and lonely. Tycho too was drunk, tired, and stoned, and fell on the bathroom floor with his pants down.
