Polarization of the Political Parties, my thoughts.

As we've seen from today's recent political debacle of bi-partisanship and the failure to pass anything remotely crucial to the country and abroad, I definitely it mostly on the polarization of the two parties. The radical conservatives along with the "Social Block" Democrats and their lack of supporting Obama, has created the greatest rift between two parties in American history. Arguing with Tea Baggersm, subjective news outlet demagogues, social fanatics, hard-line Libertarians, and anarchists, seems to always result in subject negativity and ignorance of critical thinking on part to party affiliation. Never before have we seen such distinction between political advocates, that the American public along with their representatives, talking is uselesss, unless you side with either party. There are no moderate republicans and moderate democrats are so unorganized, they don't even know what to agree on. What I'm trying to say is that...we can't vote on anything because we are listening more than reasoning.
Also adding that our society is more sarcastic and cynical doesn't help when reasoning with an open mind on sensitive issues. Why does sarcasm and cynicism have anything to do with political thinking? Well in short, our society, the average folk, are used to letting the people in Washington to run the country and only really care about government when A) We are attacked B) When rights are challenged C) When we get to vote on a President. The entertainment and media have a lot to do with our overall philosophy and the years of "Sleeping Dog" syndrome has made us a sarcastic, ignorant, stubborn people. As news media outlets begin to discard factual/un-biased news, they bring in subjective commentary that has sculpted the ignorant masses to abide by what the news says because the news is supposed to give us factual, un-biased news. Along with stupid retro-hippy movements like Occupay and Tea Baggers supported by the wealthy through Fundamentalism and Neo-Patriotism (to plainly put, Nationalism), the people are walking to others sides of the political spectrum in the hopes to out weigh the otherside and take radical affirmative action.
We need to reason, talk, become aware what is actually going on. If we don't...well you think of  a shitty situation than right now.
